Rose Issa was advisor for the Iranian and Arab selection at the Festival.

Throughout the years she introduced the audience to directors such as Abbas Kiarostami, Jafar Panahi, Mohsen and Samira Makhmalbaf, Parviz Shahbazi and Youssef Chahine among many others.
