This first solo show in London of the Iranian mirror-mosaic artist Hossein Moradi (b. 1970), celebrates a new departure for this ancient artform.

For a decade, Moradi was the master assistant to Monir Farmanfarmaian (1922-2019). Moradi’s superb technical mastery and studio supervision enabled Monir and her team of craftsmen to realise some of the most ambitious and sophisticated works of her career.

Moradi now works from his studio in Tehran. For this first artistic venture, he has created jewel-like spheres designed with multi-coloured glass - the Celestial Spheres series - and classical geometric panels in small and large formats - Ornamental Structures series.
