HANIEH DELECROIX & KEYVAN SABER: LIFELINE | 22 Nov–20 Dec 2013

A unique collaboration between two Iranian artists based in Paris who started working together in 2012. The relationship between the mind and the body, especially the mind of a damaged body, is central to Delecroix's art.

BEHRUZ HESHMAT: THE HOUSE IS BLACK | 14 October - 14 November 2013

For his debut exhibition in the UK, Behruz Heshmat has created a unique series of large- and small-format “treehouse” sculptures: startling metal branches that support a variety of decorated or filled models of houses.

MOURAD SALEM: SULTANS ARE NO SULTANS | 3 - 30 October 2013

This exhibition inaugurates the 2013 Nour Festival of Arts from the Middle East and North Africa at Leighton House Museum and is the London debut of Mourad Salem, a Tunisian artist based in Paris.

THE SEVEN VALLEYS | 4 September - 5 October 2013

This group show of paintings and works on paper creates a dialogue between seven of the artists that Rose Issa Projects has worked with. The title is thematic and references the 12th-century Persian poet Farid ud-Din Attar’s epic work, 'The Conference of the Birds'.

Monir Shahroudi Farmanfarmaian's hejleh is an emotional response as well as a commemorative piece dedicated to those whom the artist feels indebted to.

SUSAN HEFUNA: RASM – OF WOOD, SILVER AND GOLD | 11 July - 9 August 2013

This is Susan Hefuna’s second solo exhibition in London and features a selection of her most recent work, including gold-plated brass drawings, silvered-bronze wall sculptures and her signature latticework wooden screens (or mashrabiyas).

This exhibition includes an installation by Iraida Icaza, shadow figures by Lotte Reiniger, paintings by Selma Gurbuz, an animated film by Beate Petersen, and an album of mid-19th-century Persian photographs owned by the Persian king Nassereddin Shah.
